Snake Creek is located in Wasatch County. It is the entire drainage behind Brighton ski area's Snake Creek and Crest chairlifts. It is separated from Caribou Basin, the drainage to the east, by Rochester Ridge. Don't confuse this Snake Creek drainage with the terrain that is served by Brighton's Snake Creek chairlift.
There are more than a dozen named runs in Snake Creek including (listed clockwise) Snake Eyes North, 8 Ball, Corner Pocket, Valentine Chutes, Green Slope, Marco Polo, Nondairy Creamer, Big Daddy's, and Snake Eyes. The runs on the south side of Snake Creek (it feels like the west side) are easier to access from Alta whereas the runs on the north side are easier to access from Brighton.
