The Big Water run descends from the ridge that is south of Big Water Peak. It is a wonderful, intermediate run through open glades.
You can get to the Big Water Gulch run by ascending Big Water Gulch from the Big Water parking lot in Mill Creek Canyon. An easier option is to start at the Spruces trailhead and skin to Dog Lake. From Dog Lake you can either traverse directly to the Big Water Gulch run, or skin to the top of Reynolds Peak, ski Reynolds Glade, and then skin to the ridge at the top of the Big Water Gulch run.
If you came in from the Spruces, you can skin to Dog Lake to return to your car.
