Big Water Gulch

Big Water Gulch is the drainage that runs from Dog Lake to the Big Water parking lot at the top of Mill Creek Canyon. If you are coming from Mill Creek Canyon, Big Water Gulch is a convenient way to access Dog Lake, the Big Water Gulch run, and Fred's Birthday Run.

Big Water Gulch is up-canyon from Soldier Fork and down-canyon from Little Water Gulch.

(Remember that the mileages shown in the info tables for routes that start at the Big Water trailhead do not include the 4.5 miles and 1,500 vertical feet from the Maple Grove gate to the Big Water trailhead.)
