The White Pine trailhead is a large parking lot on the right (south) side of Little Cottonwood Canyon. It is located 5.3 miles past the digital sign (at the mouth of the canyon) and 0.7 miles before Snowbird Entry #1.
The White Pine trailhead is used to access runs in both White Pine Fork, Red Pine Fork, Maybird Gulch, as well as nearby runs on the north side of the canyon. Although the parking area is large, it can overflow on busy days.
Drive 5.3 miles past the digital sign at the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon. Park in the large parking lot on the right (south) side of the road. If the lot is full and you need to park on the canyon road, pay attention to the parking signs and make sure your vehicle is right of the white line.
