The East Face of Reynolds is a wide bowl that offers a long sustained slope for glorious turns. It's also an obvious avalanche path that is frequently wind-loaded. It should be treated accordingly.
You can drop into this relatively steep and east-facing bowl from Reynolds Peak, or, a little safer, from the skier's right ridgeline. There is a flat area midway down the slope followed by another steepish pitch in pine trees. The rollover into the pines looks much steeper as you approach it, but it isn't.
You can head skier's right a little before the bottom of the run to catch a short (15 minute) skin track to the top of Tom's Hill.
Follow the route to Reynolds Peak from the Spruces parking lot.
