As with many of the drainages in the Wasatch, Days Draw is periodically stripped of trees by avalanches. The resulting regrowth has created a slalom-like challenge in the lower half of Days Draw, but what a wonderful run it is. From the Reed and Benson Ridge (the ridge between Days Fork and Cardiff Fork) to the bottom of Days Draw is an exhilarating 1,800 vertical feet through somewhat lumpy terrain (see the photo).

Peggy Days, Lazy Days, and Lucky Days are the successive drainages that are north (down-canyon) of Days Draw. As with Days Draw, they're easiest to access from the Spruces trailhead.

Follow the instructions to ascend Days Fork from Big Cottonwood Canyon. Those instructions mention that there is a terrain trap gully a few hundred feet after crossing the meadow at the base of Days Draw. When you reach this meadow (and before reaching the gully), turn right and skin up Days Draw.
