Promise Land is the wooded area that is north of 10420's false summit. The
skier's left is significantly steeper, has several clearings, and includes Lane's Leap. Skier's right is
lower angle and has tighter trees. There are a fair number of downed trees in Promise Land.
Getting to Promise Land
Follow the instructions to 10420 via Brighton Hill. You can drop into the Promise Land
before you reach the false summit, from the false summit, or on the way from the
false summit down to Guardsman Pass.
