If you're sans skins, you can ride Brighton's Milly chairlift, boot the Millicent ridgeline, ski Stupid Chute and Figure 8 Hill, and return to Brighton by staying skier's right of the Twin Lakes reservoir.
Skier Dr. Steven VanderVoort, age 37, died in an avalanche on Figure 8 Hill on February 15, 1987. He had an avalanche transceiver in the bottom of his backpack that was not turned on (presumably because his partner didn't have an avalanche transceiver). Read the accident report.
