The Porter Fork trailhead is 3.5 miles past the Mill Creek entrance booth (and a half-mile before the winter closure gate) on the right side of the road.

Depending on the parking, you may need to park at the Burch Hollow lot which is a few hundred feet up-canyon on the left or at the much larger Terraces parking lot which is 0.2 miles up the road.
